Changes to the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC

We’re constantly told to embrace change, but for some people change is difficult to take in. When it comes to automakers, we’re constantly seeing and hearing about new features previously made unavailable. Are those new features really worth it, or are they just an excuse to add a higher price tag to a model that’s essentially the same as it was a year ago? You won’t have to worry about that with Mercedes-Benz and their recently-released 2019 GLC. Check out the changes to the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC here on our blog!

What’s New in the 2019 GLC?

Because of the redesign a few years ago, the 2019 GLC won’t see many changes compared to the 2018 model. While drivers not familiar with Mercedes-Benz might find that to be boring news, they probably haven’t seen the 2018 model. It will still be getting the same outstanding performance features like 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque in the base model as well as available 4MATIC® all-wheel drive. However, there are some new features you’ll be sure to appreciate such as standard heated front seating and a 115 V power outlet. Available features not found in the 2018 model include 3-Zone Automatic Climate Control and an Off-Road Engineering Package.

The AMG® GLC models will be receiving a few upgrades as well. AMG®, the high-performance sector of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, will again be getting the same power specs but with additions inside that include:

  • AMG® SPEEDSHIFT® 9-speed transmission
  • Optional AMG® Performance Seats
  • Optional AMG® Nappa/DINAMICA Performance steering wheel
  • Optional AMG® Optics Package (included AMG® Performance Studio Package)
