New features in the 2019 C-Class Sedan
Upping the performance ante a little bit is the upgraded 2.0L inline-4 turbocharged engine, which gets 255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. Safety enhancements include Active Lane Change Assist and Route-Based Speed Adaptation while refreshed headlights and taillights will make you more visible to other drivers (in addition to a more appealing look). Other notable changes include a new 10.25-inch infotainment display screen (standard in the coupe and cabriolet models) and 12.3-inch Digital Instrument Cluster, similar to the one that comes standard in the 2018 E-Class.
New features in the 2019 AMG® C-Class
Some of the new features in the C-Class come standard across the board, where everything from the base C 300 all the way up to the highest performance AMG® C-Class models includes them. Others fall specifically in the lap of the AMG® models. Performance changes in the 2019 AMG® C 43 include a new AMG® SPEEDSHIFT® TCT 9-speed transmission and a boost in horsepower up to 385 hp (362 hp in the 2018 model) as well as a new grille design. The AMG® C 63 and AMG® C 63 S will receive a standard limited-slip differential and an optional AMG® DRIVE UNIT for enhanced steering wheel functionality.
