2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Preview

Set to arrive at U.S. dealerships in early 2022, the new 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is already creating a buzz, thanks to its updated design, features, and performance. C-Class Exterior & Interior Design

The C-Class exterior showcases its power through its long wheelbase, short front overhang, and twin domes that adorn its sporty hood. Taking on a cab-backward design, the windshield and passenger cell have been moved to the rear for a sleek, classic design. A unique seat design delivers the impression of lightness through a special design that uses enveloping surfaces. Move into the AMG® line and you can enjoy a dashboard covered with MB-Tex upholstery and multiple interior trims to complement surrounding features. 

New C-Class Technology Features

An all-new 11.9-inch central touchscreen media display that is tilted 6 degrees towards the driver and offers full-screen navigation thanks to its portrait orientation. Additionally, there’s a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel that lets you choose from Classic, Sporty, and Understated display styles. What’s more, you can also pick from Assistance, Service, and Navigation modes. You can also enjoy C-Class technology features, such as:

• Fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication
• New-generation MBUX infotainment and navigation system

Electrified C-Class Engine 

Bringing a new level of efficiency to their engine, the C-Class by adding an integrated starter-generator via a 48-volt onboard electrical system. This electrification of their 2.0L Inline-4 turbo engine allows for improved boosting and energy recovery, delivering a mixture of efficiency and power. Performance specs of the new C-Class continue with:

• 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque
• Top speed of 130 mph (electronically limited)
• Accelerates to 0-60 in 5.9 seconds
